Alison Hill

Alison Hill joined The Swig Company Board in 2020. She brings deep experience in real estate, real estate law, and private capital markets, with broad expertise spanning accounting, finance, tax, risk management, investment development, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Alison serves as Chair of The Swig Company’s Budget Committee and is also a member of the Compensation Committee. 

Alison has board experience across for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including American Campus Communities, a publicly traded student housing REIT; Hamilton College Board of Trustees; former Board Member and President of GirlVentures, a Bay Area nonprofit empowering girls through outdoor adventure.

Cathy Stauffer

Cathy Stauffer is an experienced public and private company board director backed by a 30-year career building strong brands in environments of high growth, disruption, and transformation.  She joined The Swig Company Board in 2020 and currently serves as Chair of The Swig Company’s Board of Directors, as well as Chair of the Compensation Committee.   She serves on all Committees of the Board:  Investment, Budget, Governance & Nominating Committees.

Cathy is Chair of Ignite Fitness Holdings, one of the largest Planet Fitness franchisees; Chair of Fresh Pure Waters; Senior Advisor to TowerBrook Capital Partners, a purpose-driven investment management firm headquartered in New York and London.

Connor Kidd

President and Chief Executive Officer

Connor Kidd is President and CEO of The Swig Company and has over a decade of institutional commercial real estate experience. Connor joined The Swig Company in 2009 with the Investments Team and led the Asset Management team since from January 2019 until September 2023. Throughout his career, Connor has participated as a principal in transactions of over $5 billion in value, comprising over 6 million square feet and over 500 multifamily units. Before joining The Swig Company, Connor held real estate positions at Hunter Properties, AMB Properties (now Prologis), and North Star Realty Finance. Connor has a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Stanford University. He is an active member of the San Francisco NAIOP chapter and a member of the Stanford Alumni Real Estate Counsel (SREC).

Dara Friedman

Dara Friedman joined The Swig Company Board in 2022.  She is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of the Core Plus Fund at Bentall GreenOak, a global real estate investment firm and one of the largest real estate investment managers in North America.  Dara serves as Chair of The Swig Company Risk Subcommittee and is also a member of the Budget and Investment Committees.

We greatly benefit from Dara's institutional investment expertise and her disciplined approach to portfolio strategy and risk management.

Guy Jaquier

Guy Jaquier joined The Swig Company Board in 2014. He has had a long and distinguished career leading global real estate investments, private capital funds, and joint ventures with institutional real estate investors. Guy serves as Chair of the Investment Committee and is a member of The Swig Company’s Compensation Committee.

Guy is a Non-Executive Member of the Prologis Investment Committee; Executive Director and Board Member of Operation Encore.

Linda Assante

Linda Assante joined The Swig Company Board in 2020. She is an experienced institutional private markets investor with more than 35 years in the financial services industry. Linda has spent most of her career serving both as an advisor and an investment manager for prominent families. She serves as Chair of The Swig Company’s Nominating & Governance Committee and is also a member of the Investment and Compensation Committees.  Linda is currently Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Uplifting Capital, a firm she co-founded with her partner in 2021.

Linda is a Board Member of James Campbell Company, Terreno Realty Corporation, the Pension Real Estate Association Foundation, and Urban Alliance; Advisory Board member of Catalyst Housing Group; Senior Advisor to Azimuth Capital Management; Board Trustee and Vice Chair of Lafayette College.

Roselyne C. Swig

Emeritus

Roselyne C. Swig is a second-generation member of the Swig Family and served on The Swig Company Board of Directors for 12 years as Director and as Emeritus Director for 15 years. Over several decades, Roselyne, a community consultant, helped found multiple advocacy and non-profit organizations and served in leadership roles across major institutions focused on women’s empowerment, social welfare, the arts, education, political advocacy, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the general and Jewish communities.  She embodies ‘Tikkun Olam’, practicing reaching out to repair the world without expectation for personal return.
